...somehow this is the period of defekt equipments in my home
Newest headache is my NAD T571. Error description: Power LED always green. Player does ignore all signal from the remote control and from the front panel as well. Already checked: -Mains fuse OK. All output voltages of the SMPS OK. -Connectors and wires between mainboard and front panel Ok. -IR Remote IC ...at least not shorted... -All front panel switches Ok -Display slightly blackened (also tried if disconnecting the display supplies would let work the rest again- but no change in behavior. -uCControler supply on the main board Ok. -Hidden SMD fuses broken? No.... Hm... do you know this error? Do you have a service manual? In fact I am not willing to spend much time and/or money for the repair (may be 30-50 EUR and 2 more hours). Simply exchanging the front panel PCB 6870R4935AN would be my first idea, but even for NAD service this would need several weeks and cost quite probable more than 50EUR... Anybody out there who has such a front panel board left over and is willing to sell? (But please only offer if you are sure that it is working.) Bye Markus |

...in the meantime I completely disconnected the display, but this does change anything.
It seems not to be an issue of the diplay, even if one corner is slighty blackened. |
