I've been looking at desk-top DJ CD players like the Denon DN-S1000.
Would these be a good transport for use with an off-board dac? Would the 20s anti-shock buffer reduce jitter? DN-S1000 spec sheet |

If you're planning on using the digital output into an outboard DAC then the jitter will be defined by the clock recovery on the S/PDIF receiver. I don't think the 20s buffer will have any benefit.
There's not enough info on the brochure to tell what this transport is and I'm not familiar with it. The specs certainly don't make me want to run out and buy one. |
