Where did the edit button just go? Can't find it.

I resoldered all joints, and now there is 330mV AC on XTI, but still none on XTO. The device is still not recognised in Windows.

Umm... I think I messed up...

The XTI and XTI still have that voltage, which made me think that the internal vreg is just fine, but all the other voltage outputs have hardly any voltage on it (most of them are around 14mV). I guess that my solder bridge actually did kill the internal vreg

Would it make sense to make a self-powered soundcard from this instead of a bus-powered one, or is it probably too broken for that too?

Thanks a lot to Guido Tent for his help.

hi Eddy,

I am afraid you blew up the output of the internal oscillator by shorting that

you may need to replace the PCM2706

best

Two PCM2706 are added to the shopping list at farnell, but I won't order until after perhaps a week or two.

Thanks for your input.
