The Aune sounds/looks very interesting for a car application. One question, can you set it to shuffle through the songs? Apparently the similar QA-350 player has this option.

Yes, the Aune Mini Ape player will shuffle. In order to do so, it has to read through the entire directory before it will play. Takes about two minutes with the half a terabyte I have so far on my hard disk.

none as I know but the heat. I mean the fast heating up from low temperature causes moisture in the air that may short the circuits.
