I would really like to build an analog to FireWire circuit to allow me to "rip" my vinyl into digital format and send it to my PC via FireWire so I can encode at 24/96 or 24/192 versus the 16/48 via USB. Most of the chips and codecs I have see are all surface mount so I would have to develop my own PCB. I'd really like to find DIP mounted chips so I can wire up an ADC P2P. Does anyone have any suggestions since nothing has come up so far in my search?
TIA - BMF |
