Hi all,

I have been lurking around here for some time, but as I am a newbie to DIY it has been basically to 'learn'.

Well, having recaped (and slightly tweaked) my first CD player recently, I decided to have a go at the Philips.
All went well - or so I hope - until I damaged an SMD cap on the board just underneath the clock. Now I was wondering if somebody could tell me which value this cap had so that I can replace it.

I should mention that I downloaded a service manual but I have to admit that I am not skilled enough to read the schematic properly to identify the damaged part.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

All the best from rainy :bawling: Germany,
Wolfram

Here should be some pics of the board now.

Hi Wolfram,

do I know you somewhere?:clown:
Looks like a bypass for the bigger Antennas, no problem to just leave it out.
For better feelings you could solder a Wima MKS2 0,22 at this place, if at hand:angel:
But it should work fine without, if no other bug is hidden somewhere in the wilderness of the PCB...

Best regards from cologne,

Juergen

p.S. NONOS rulez!
