hey,
new dac or wanna buy kits?

sure you can do that. In fact it can accept even 24 / 768 khz (16x OS)

Pass d1 dac redo kit with 1704's on "pcm63" adapter would work nice, tho the import from China is blocked because of olympics.
... :fight:

To make it accept 192k , you have to install a "NOS ADAPTER" that can be plugged into the socket of the original sm5842 filter.

I think its good idea to make dip adapters for the 1704 , makes differential / stereo pairing easy .

I have 2 pc d1v2 PCB-s , good testbed let me know if you want some.

Besides DIP adapter for the 1704, you have to use the pins of the digital filter to pass down the 192 khz signal . What is your source btw? LVDS maybe, or simple spdif - cs8416 ... dix4192 ?

Hi,

my Pal Aykman told me that you can use DIF1706 (4x Oversampling 192khz) to feed a standard PCM1704 with 192Khz Signals.

The more famous DIF1704 just delivers 96Khz with 8x OS.

You can also use the SRC4392 in "non os mode" to deliver the 192Khz which can be used by the PCM1704.
