Default surround sound processor using a PIC

Does anyone know how to compile a code to program a PIC that would control a Mitsubishi M65857 surround sound processor. It only has serial data input (three lines-Clk,Data, and Latch). it would also need a keypad and LCD to change the sound fields. I am new to programming and this seems as good a reason as any to learn
