Is it possible to develop a ASIO driver for PCM2900 based USB Audio interface?
Or we have to use a TAS1020 with special firmware in order to do this kind of low level interaction?
I'm planning to build my own USB audio interface (2 in/2 out) with low-latency ASIO support. Thanks. |
Hi,
Did you find a solution for it? I'm looking to do the same |
I do not know if you really need ASIO for your USB interface.
There are no DSP's or mixers in the way, the audio stream is fed directly into the USB interface. I experimented with PCM2706 and found no need for such. Or am i missing anything ? |
Thanks rrremus but the point is that can it handle 2 stereo pair ins if u use 2 pcm2900? If u use only one chip then u dont need drivers but if u use 2?

What do you mean by two stereo pairs ?
You want a stereo output and a stereo input via USB ? |
no, dual stereo output, 4ch

There is a similar thread here : http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/digit...ml#post2385882

Yep I need a 4 channel output.
The thread you mention rrrremus was started by me and after I saw this one and was wondering if he achieved something. Thanks |
