Question Chip/Patch - Denon CDR-1000

Do sombody know if it is possible to install a chip or make another patch, so that it is possible to use normal CD-R's and not only Audio CD-R's in a Denon CDR-1000 CD recorder ?

I have seen a chip that can do that on some Philips CD recorders but is that possible on a Denon CDR-1000 too ?
