The partnumber on the bag is ok.
S1 double crown for CD7: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...895#post868895 however, in the picture it's clearly TAIWAN and S2: Picture of Marantz CD7 with Double Crown bottomline, can't tell

I have looked inside the Marantz CD7 with TDA1541AS2, it is made in taiwan.
They look exactly like this: Picture of Marantz CD7 with Double Crown Hope this help.... |

I've seen this chip in and old top sony player or dac before. It is a single(S1) crown but with 2 crown stamp. But this chip is not used inside a marant cd7. Cheers!
