I ordered a USB DAC board from http://www.dddac.de/ma_dac31.htm
Namely the http://www.dddac.de/files/dddac-usb-1543-dac32.pdf with the TDA1543 DAC chip on it. And I plan to modify the TDA1543 analog output like I did here (attachment) I may decide to run the TDA1543 off 5V instead of 6V. This should give me tube sound from a computer via a resistor I to V and then tube CF. Oh, I'll build the board as designed first (but skip the relay and hard wire it to TDA1543 output mode), to be sure the thing works, before doing the mods. Which should be minimal on the board itself (change a few resistors). The tube circuit would be built on its own board or chassis. Hopefully I'll receive this kit before I get back to home June 4th, else it's another 3 months after that before I get back there again (long road contract job, no, not Iraq!).
