I have a defunct Sony DTC-60ES DAT tape recorder with a dead transport. My friend doesn't intend repairing it as it is no longer used by him.So it's now mine.
I figured that I could use it as a stand alone DAC ( and ADC ! ). Anyone have any idea how good the DAC is ? I haven't yet been able to get a circuit diagram. Cheers.
