do any one use the sdata, lrclk and bclk in a discman to feed into a dac?
i am trying to do with a sony discman--D-E805

it use a sm5902 esp chips, i have make it in bypass mode, that means the audio data will not go into the DRAM. and i find that there is a crystal/ oscillator --16.9Mhz beside it.

i have use a scope to check those digital audio in/out pin on sm5902, the Bclk is not 2.8XXMhz, its 2.11XXMhz, but the LRclk is 44.1Khz.

do anyone have expensice in discman? do the bclk divided by that crystal/ oscillator or just generated in the CD servo/DSP...

do any have some referance sch./ block diagram of discman?

thanks

today i have make it work!
i have use a 38.8688Mhz crystal and use DF1704 divided it by 2 and feed to the discman. and then i use the Sdata, Bclk and LRclk from the discman as the audio interface to DF1704. the sound is produced by the pcm1704!

but i still want to find out the reson why the Bclk is 2.11Xmhz (44.1khz X 48) and not 2.82XXmhz (44.1khz X 64).........
