Hi my DVD player hangs when powering up, turning the unit off does not work. I would need to unplugged the unit and plugged again, then it would work fine. This happens only when a CD is inside the player..
any ideas what could be wrong ?

Mine also has the same behavior since new and the damn thing will work fine at the dealer's place. It does not have relation with the cd.
This happens due to humidity, as pcb laminate is of inferior quality. With the dvd players so cheap, they may not afford a good laminate. U may be able to rectify it by coating the pcb with a protective spray after heating it. Gajanan Phadte |
