Default fastest pure-PCM DACs

Hello all!

How fast are the fastest pure PCM-DACs,
for 8 Bit, 12 Bit, 16 Bit, 20 Bit, 24 Bit?

Are these AD beasts all pure PCM?
And is highspeed >16bit not possible, or is there just no market?

The PCM1704 and the WM8740 (and probably others) have 8xFs modes for use with an external digital filter. In 8x mode they accept 768kHz sample rate, 24-bit samples. Neither chip is upsampling in this mode; that is assumed to have been done by the external filter, like the DF1704.

I remember the Wadia Power DAC that reached 2.8Mhz with eight of them driven phase-shifted many years ago. Any progress so far? And what about ADCs?
