Default Pro.DAC USR/SPIF any good?

Saw this model on an AU site and another thread and searched for a US distributor of one of the products--

http://www.obadimports.com/catalog/i...55/5226912.htm

Seems like a real good price. I like that it does USB and SPIF. I thought about building one but all the kits are more than this unit built.

Anyone know if that DAC is any good?

I'm looking for something that's noticably better than a box store CD players ($100-200) but not even considering getting into exotic audophile prices (over several hundred US$).

Anyone suggest any other modules in the < $200 range that might be better?

Well I've never heard of the brand and never tried one but the chips used can make good sound if intelligently applied (by circuit designer)

I see that it is only $79 at Audiomagus.

Google the product and you'll find some positive reviews at "other" forums

The Audiomagus $79 is the non-usb. The USB is $109 there also.
