DS/D Decode-1 dac?

I just bought this dac on ebay for £35, mainly because of the in-built digital switching.

The strange thing is that I can't find any reference to the manufacturer or model on the internet - not one!

Does anyone know anything about this dac?

Hi,

I also bought one a few months back and i've been trying to find out some information about it.

mine is the black faced version of it.

would appreciate if somebody has some information about the company or the unit itself.

bought in hifi shop in 1999 and never find any notice about this component or company

Any of you guys popped the lid? What sort of DAC chip does it use?
