Hi,
I accidentally shorted a +5V contact to ground on my Sony DVP-NC650V CD/SACD/DVD player (while it was turned on.) It immediately shut off and now won't turn on again.
Any ideas whether it can be fixed? The service manual/schematics can be downloaded here.
This diagram shows the part I shorted: on part RY201 (slightly to the right of center), I accidentally touched contacts #1 and #12 to ground. Contact #12 is +5V.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Leo
PS: This is the same player I previously modded, as described in this NC650V modding thread; another related modding thread
