Does anyone know what DAC's are used in the Marantz CD48 , CD50 and CD 52 ?
these machines are available here quite cheap.
Thanks.

Also ,if possible, the crystal frequencies.
Thanks.

CD50: DAC: TDA1541, Clock 11.xx MHz
CD52: DAC: 1-bit SAA7350?, Clock was also 11.xx IIRC.

CD50

Thank you Dr.H.
I found these machines in the market for about US$40/-. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile picking it up. The sales person said that it works. I have no idea how well it works. I was looking at it from the components point of view. The DAC and crystal alone may be worth it. Would I be right ?
Thanks again.
Cheers.

My modified Rotel with a TDA1541 sound great.
