Need Laser allignment tips phillips dvd622

OK,

I was messing around with my dvd last evening, p*ssed of that it rejects playing dvd-rw 's and cd-rw. So i thought what the heck , lets try some laser adjusting, with some good preparation it could not hurt.

I did this often with some console and other dvd players.

I always start by measuring some impedances on the power potmeters, to be able to put things the way they were.

So i did some tweaking around without any luck, so i thought lets put al to default and call it a day. But what.. somehow i cannot find the settings i logged into a txt file on my computer anymore.

So putting the potmeters back with the eye , i am able to play dvd's, but it wont play vcd/svcd anymore.

So my question is does some one over here have acces to the dvd 622 service manual and can tell me how to reallign them to play vcd/svcd again.

I actually dont know excatly what the 2 potmeters are for. Most dvd's i did had only one. My best guess is 1 for cd media and the other for dvd. Maybe somebody knows ??
