Default NAD 502 with newbie attached

Hello,
Does anybody know where to get schematics for a NAD 502 CD player?
I found it broken on ebay, and figured I have to start somewhere so this will do, for $70AU.
I'm buying some lowish priced upgrades from a place called Burson in Melbourne (clock, op, shunt reg)bit by bit to suit my frail little budget, but what I really want to know is what sort of power transformer should I think about upgrading to?
I plan to run the clock on a seperate DC power supply and get a better one for the rest of the player, but I know neither of which to buy.
And I decided not to get a seperate DAC for the time being too, again, budget.
Anyway I'm looking forward to buying one bit at a time and trying to hear the improvements with my own ears.
I got a good preamp, headphone amp and HD650s.
Any power-supply/transformer suggestions for a guy that can spend maybe about 150AU a week?
Capacitors, too.
