Is it possible to make an FM Tuner using a TV tuner card? Has anyone tried it before?
Thanks Hari |

Some TV tuner cards have FM tuners as well; I've got one from Hauppauge like that. One of the WinTV models; I think it was one that also tuned MTS stereo for NTSC cable.

Thanks. Most of the TV tuner cards available today include an FM tuner. What I'm looking to do is to make a stand alone FM tuner using one of these cards. Would that be possible? Hari |

There is a complete FM Tuner on a chip...
http://www.silabs.com/tgwWebApp/publ...-31_matrix.htm Some models have digital outputs. Not sure about the quality, but they look interesting.
