Hi - It's time to upgrade my SACD player and have been looking on the net for reviews and recommendations of units in the £400-600 range (approx $800-1200?). I have narrowed it down to the Sony SCDXA1200ES and the Marantz 7001KI (not that there are that many SACD players anyway). I'd be very interested if anyone has any direct experience of either of these, or could suggest any good alternatives.
Cheers - Good listening ! |

I have the Music Hall Maverick SACD Player. Solidly built and has great performance. The upsampling option for playing "regular" CDs is a feature I now use all the time.
I believe it is now in the $800-$900 range. Good luck. Mayank |
