I was going to throw away my Aopen CD-Rom but changed my mind when a friend told me that I could build a CD transport from this thing.
The model is CD-948E. It has a Toshiba DSP TC9474FA, and I was told that it has I2S outputs. According to the Samsung SC-184B CD Rom drive schematics the TC9474FA has the following taps pin 74: CHCK --> DLRCK pin 50: ABCK --> DBCLK pin 49: ADO --> DSDATA pin 81: LRCK--> LRCK pin 82: DAI--> SDATA pin 83: BCKI --> BCK Now the problem. I don't know which set is audio I2S. I am planning going to connect a TDA1543 to the the TC9474FA. Should I connect 1543's BCK,WS, and DATA to pins 74/50/49 or pins 81/82/83 of the 9474? |
