Sorry can't give you an opinion on the sound. But that on/off button looks hideous.

i will try to translate from what i read about the comment from the designer of this dac:
" bass is deep, good dynamic, high transparency, very balanced, good interpretation of music, suitable for complex style music." i can buy this dac through ljra2@hotmail.com, merely because he accept paypal and he can read english. there's also another dac make by the same guy, it use the da1865 chip here's the link:http://www.erji.net/read.php?tid=393492&fpage=2 but this one is not true balanced like the da1995, i am after a true balanced dac for my balanced headphone setup. |

DA1865 ADVERTISE at TaoBoa for CNY$2980 , ie AUD$434, it is not a bargain price. the DA1955 uses AD1955 which suppose to a good sounding chipset. There are many good sounding(not high end) DAC selling for around US$200-$300. that includes Zhaolu 2.5, etc...it is very competitive out there. go to this site you will find many pepole talking about DAC for headphones. http://www.head-fi.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11 |
