Serial number 17700178,bought in France 99'
It worked fine and no part was replaced till now.
Just a general servicing on year 03'

I faced actually the following problem: When i insert a CD the drawer close but play doesn't start and there is no indication of total time as usual nor error.

The laser block try to come under the CD but it can't because it hurt the CD which doesn't come to the upward position.
Sometimes it succeeds but there is a gritting noise ,the CD doesn't spin and the laser block come back.

Sometimes after 24 hours it works again with no problem at all for some hours but the phénomena come back when using a new CD ans so on...

I will appreciate your suggestions and help.
