Teac VRDS T1 or Rotel RDD 980

looking for general comments or experience of these 2 transports, will be used with either Audio Alchemy DDE1 or DPA Little bit 3...interested to know what other members think of these combinations

I'd go with the Teac. Mainly because I tried the Rotel, and I found it sounded less good than an NAD 504 CD player used as a transport. Neither the Rotel nor the NAD was as good as the DiscMagic I ended up buying. Secondly, I've heard good things about the Teac.

Actually I already have the TEAC T1 feeding the DDE1, which I love as it has an almost analogue quality to it, however I have just been offered a whole load of equipment at a silly price (relative's clear-out) and that includes the Rotel & DPA. AS I've already said I'll will buy it I intend trying all of the various combinations and selling the 'excess'. Just wanted to see what others thought
