I'm sitting here fussing with my new toy, and I need a little help.
I've got a DAC chip that needs identifying: its a 10 pin (!) surface mount. On top of it is printed "345C 0621", no other symbols. I'm hoping to get the data sheet for it to mess with the surrounding circuitry some. I've included a picture - the IC in question is U14. If anyone is interested, U9 is the ADC, and is a CS5340, from cirrus logic. These are the guts of a phonic firefly 302. Its a cheap (lowest priced) firewire audio interface, with good features, but relatively lousy thd and imd figures - about .7%, versus a more normal .005%. |

ahhh, thank you. you are very correct, the chip is a cs4345, and an ADC, not a DAC. I should have searched a little more...
