Is there any replacement of PCM64?

Hi Guys,

one of my friend has a Denon DCD1520 with a BB PCM64 dac per channel.

My question is:
Can I replace this dac IC for another type what is pin to pin compatible?

It looks like similar to PCM63... :?:

If your CDP still works after nearly 20 years, my advice is to let it be.

Have you compared the datasheets for the DAC's?

BTW: I have also a DCD-1520, rather tired I'm afraid.

my thought was fail...

The PCM64 has 42 pins and the PCM63 has only 28 pins...

Any other advice?
