Frequency clock of Marantz sa7001

Hi guys,
somebody can tell me the clock frequency of SACD 7001 Marantz ? I would mount Kwak clock inside it. Many thanks

Hi Falter,

It's 33.8688MHz, I don't know if the Kwak-clock works at that frequency. But beware: replacing the clock can be tricky business, you'll have to modify the SMD PCB that's under the transport.
See the SA8400 section here. It has the same PCB as the 7001.

Thank you very much. I didn't knew the frequency which work the dac. I will read well the instructions to mount Kwak clock inside my sacd.

Hi Ray, and sorry for such type of contacting since I'm still a new member and cannot send you an email directly.

I read thru modification list on your site that I'm going to use for modifying my new SA7001KI and one thing is unclear to me: that mute relay. What is a purpose and where I can find schematic of it?
