To all DITB modders, changing to 12V regulators, please note as follows:
IMPORTANT: I found a serious error in the published schematic- I don't have the datasheet in front of me here, but if you look at the CS8412 data, you will find that it takes a feed from the audio power supply & audio ground for "clock recovery". It is marked on the schematic as coming from the 5VD in error. So, when you change to 12V regulators for the audio output supply(which I hope you did), you MUST add a small 5V regultor IC(i.e., the tiny 78L05 removed from audio
supply) to the line going to clock recovery pins of the CS8412, as that pin is rated only up to 6V, and explains why I have had a CS8412 fail on a previous DITB.
