Compact Disc Sony, model CDP-591.
Problem: Display information "no disc", with cd on it.
Anyone can provide one solution? (KSS-240a) replaced!

Hi,
Did you remember to remove the solder bridge? (Very common problem.)

Does the laser light up?
Does the spindle motor turn?

Some of the KSS-240a do not have a solder bridge.
