Hello,
Well, things have gone weird since I installed the recommended Tent Labs clock in my DCX; the LEDS are at 0db and nothing shows onthe LCD screen : ![]() And the CD player isn't connected... I don't even dare to turn the amps on. In fact it might be just an LCD problem. As a matter of fact, someone else tested the unit and he discovered that C16 (near the regulators ) has 0 Volt; C16 is actually involved in the LCD path. We tried and change it for a new capacitor but that didn't work. Other things that must be mentionned : - All currents are ok on X3 connector - All connections are made ont the PCB so that the clock should work - Prior to install the clock, the pcb was sent bare to Thierry Martin who kindly unsoldered the quart Q3. But when returned the board had a shock : Now "repaired" it looks like that : ![]() I wonder if the regulators should be changed just for a try... Any help will be appreciated; Thanks

I had a DEQ2496 with almost the same behavior, wich I never got to work again.
Check all the cabels for bad contact and you can even messaure the voltage on the output of the regulators and the PSU.And check the clock again you never know, might be a shortcuircut sommewhere.

Thank you for responding Ryssen,
What you describe looks like the "traditionnal" ribbon cable bad connection which I also experienced on the DCX; in fact, bending the male connectors solved this issue and I never had this behavior on my DCX again. Others have changed the ribbon cables to solve it too. But with my DCX things seem to be different and related to the new Tent Clock. I wonder if someone can measure the C16 voltage and tell me what it is; it would be a good start... I'm sure I'm not far from the solution, at least I hope. Buying the DCX twice is not so much fun |

Did you measure the voltages of the powered Tent clock?
Guido couldn't supply a working to spec XO2 and XO Supply to me in over 2 months of back and forth haggling. He finally stiffed me for the over $200 cost. Trust but verify that the clock alone is working at the proper output voltages as ordered/specified. Hopefully no damage was done by adding this kludged clock. -Steve |

Hello Steeve,
Thank you for the tip... I'll measure the XO power input and let you know what it is. Also, I have contacted Guido Tent to have his expertise. Could be a non-working module too (?) |

Hello Alain, I am not so well known in all details of the Behringer, but it seems that when the LCD is not giving any info, another problem is present. Nevertheless, I can ofcourse check the clock board. You can desolder the wiring at the XO2/5 board side. best |

No display on the LCD means that the main processor (the Sharc DSP) isn't working. That's assuming everything else is powered and the connectors are ok.
Cheers! |

I would start by messauring that you have all the voltages +-12v 9v 3,3v I think it is..
