Behringer DCX2496 I want to try active biamping using it as the active xover.

My Teac VRDS-T1 digital output converted to aes/ebu into the DCX2496, then the balanced outputs of the DCX2496 into my 2 x stereo poweramps, the DCX2496 has separate level controls for all the chanels, but how to have a master volume control? is there another Behringer box of some description to do this, or has Behringer overlooked a very important control?

Hi,
the DCX is speced for commercial use. i.e. to be combined with other gear.

Look up the other threads on multi-channel attenuators for the DCX.

I really don't want to have to build a 6 channel volume control, is there a cheap commercial option to this, it's wonder Behringer don't make one, they make everything else.

there are links in there to at least two ready built 6channel volume controllers and some kits.
