Loris,
looking at the video it looks like it works when under tension, maybe the issue is at the other end of the cable? |

I wonder if we should interpret the 'High End 2010' promo on audiolab's website as a faint glimmer at the end of this tunnel?

Hi John,
I noticed that if I connect the ground of the bnc input to the chassis ( I just touch both) the "strange" behaviour of the input board desappears and ( now ) everything works fine. Does this mean anything to you? How can I fix this "dacapo issue"? |

Hi John,
just wanted to let you know that i (and i'm sure many others) still watch this thread with eager anticipation of news on your Audiolab branded products and hopefully yours and Dominiks original DAC. I'm sure you are really under it at the moment, but please stay in touch with any news. All the best Steve. |

loris, that obviously means that there is a fault somewhere in the ground from the input board, try wiring in a simple wire from the gnd on the board to somewhere on the main pcb.

SQ, thanx.
I did that and it worked for the front input board. I just still have white noise at the output...... :-) |

Oh dear, seems like the Audiolab CD players/DAC wont be launched until October according to the reps a Munich High End show.
Are you taking private (Dac building) commissions John? Last edited by muz640; 9th May 2010 at 12:15 PM. |
