I was wondering if you could perform the RTA on a speaker pair using a DCX2496+DEQ2496 combo, then input the information gathered by the DEQ2496 into the DCX2496, then disconnect the DEQ2496? The reason I ask is the dipole speakers I'm building will be using the DEQ/DCX combo, but the pair of line arrays I'm working on I was just going to use the DCX2496 on. I would like to be able to utilize the DEQ's measurement capabilities and transfer that to the DCX for the line arrays, but I'm not sure if this is feasible.

You could use the pink noise and RTA functions of the DEQ to see a picure of the in-room response. You could then manually set the paremetric filters on the DCX till you where happy with the response. Then you just disconnect the DEQ and you're all done...
It is however alot more manual work then using the DEQ's auto-EQ function.
