Behringer DCX2496 XLR -> RCA solution

For those using the DCX, (assuming you even are) how are you converting the XLR inputs and outputs to RCA? Or if anyone happens to know a relatively inexpensive way to convert or adapt these XLR inputs (female) and outputs (male) I'd be really interested to hear your opinion.

You can buy XLR-to-jack converters at about £4 each; and you can buy jack-to-phono leads.

But probably the cheapest way is to buy some XLR connectors at about £2 each, and cut some phono-to-phono leads in two. Fit the XLR connectors to the cut ends.

Bear in mind the XLR connections are balanced, so for phono connections, you will have to wire the connections as shown in diagram 5.1 of the manual.
