Question More information about digital transmitter: YM3613B

Searching for information about digital transmitter: YM3613B
Package: DIL-24. Announced in the late 80's by Yamaha
Purpose: trying to upgrade my vintage CD player: JVC XL-M301

Considering trying to modify the player's electronics I take a look and opened the case. In beginning, the YM3613B seems to be crucial in audio data processing / transferring. I discovered a set of components that isn't placed actually, I only saw some footprints and copper routing to the YM3613B. A 4-pin connector with a ground pin and a logical power pin also belong to the group not-placed components. It's clear that I'm curious now an want to know more about it.

Could someone supply me some information about the YM3613B?
A pinout with pin description shall be sufficient, however a datasheet or some schematics would be perfect.

Hi,
Use PDF995 to print individual pages from the pdf manual, and select just the page you want to print. The selected pages will be saved as pdf files.. It works well and is free. It is installed as another printer on your computer. Will also allow conversion of any printable documents to pdf.. Just Google PDF995
