Beginner - 1st DAC - AK4495SEQ DAC

Dear All,

I am a beginner.

I got fascinated with Hi-Fi Audio recently. (Got Lenovo Z2 Plus, but failed to enable Hi-Fi audio)

Browsing numerous sites and forums for help but could not do much.

Got a DIY DAC based on AK4495SEQ on DIYINHK:

768kHz/32Bit AK4495SEQ DAC, I2S/DSD input - DIYINHK

I can understand that I need other things like Power transformers but still stuck on exact components needed

Need your expert help in building complete DAC. Please help on the additional components that I need to build this DAC completely. If you can share the links of those components, will help me like anything.

you need a 5 volt power supply and a usb to i2s converter

DAC board power requirements:
768kHz/32Bit AK4495SEQ DAC, I2S/DSD input - DIYINHK
one 3.3V (>300mA)
one 5.0V (>100mA)
one +-12V (>100mA)

XMOS 768K power requirements:
XMOS 768kHz DXD DSD512(DSD1024) high-quality USB to I2S/DSD PCB - DIYINHK
3.3V around 800mA


1.3"OLED and rotary encoder volume control PCB
1.3"OLED and rotary encoder volume control PCB - DIYINHK
3.3V around 50mA

D2X High Fidelity Headphone Amplifier
D2X High Fidelity Headphone Amplifier - DIYINHK
+-12V 150mA
