Amanero (DiyinHK Isolator) Soekris dam1121-02

Hola,

A simple question I should imagine, but I am a DAC noob

I can't get signal out of a Amanero > Soekris dam1121-02 DAC - or rather I can just hear a signal at max volume - so something is happening. I have a DiyinHK Isolator board which may or may not be the issue, so I am attempting bypassing it with not much luck. I assume that I have the incorrect wiring.

Attached a couple of crude schematics (PDF/JPEG)- what am I doing wrong?

Maybe connect analog power, won't work without.... See manual for details.

Hey! It worked!

Thanks a bunch Soren - it's a great DAC, spent some time listening tonight: the timing and calm resolution are very apparent - looking forward to tweaking it up!

We all appreciate the great work that you have done here - I've always much preferred the R2R solution, and this one is really great.

You should also connect GND to the isolator on the Amanero's side.
