Default Is pin 11 on SAA7210 the same as pin ?? on CS8412?

Hi everyone,

A problem with a turntable should not give me any problems but working with a DAC dus. A friend of mine has bought a DAC with a TDA1541 dac-chip which I already switched for a S2 (double crown) but I know that such a DAC would sound much nicer (read: more analog) if it was in a Non OverSampled mode. To do so would not be a problem when the dac-chip was partnered with the SAA7220 and the SAA7210! But, unfortunately, this last chip is not there and instead it has a CS8412. To make it NOS, should I connect pin ?? (yeah, which one?) of the CS8412 (instead of pin 11 of SAA7210 (Mute)) to pin 23 of the SAA7220 like I should in a normal Philips cd-player?! Is there anyone who could help me out here?

Thanks in advance!! Peetrob

NOS means you have to remove the SAA7220P/B. Search for ‘Adagio’ TDA1541A non-oversampling DAC as an example.
