My Lampucera dac suddenly has only about 25% output from the right channel. I have done some basic testing: switching the source, reversing the inputs, reversing the outputs, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Could one of the coupling caps have gone bad? Would that even cause this?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

A bad coupling cap (electrolytic) would usually show as lack of LF response. Film type are 99.999% reliable.

You should use a known signal source such as test tone (CDR wav or MP3 file etc) and check the levels working back from the output sockets through to any buffer/filter/IV conversion until you get as close to the DAC chip output as possible.

A scope is preferable but a DVM with sufficient resolution may work if you use a suitable frequency of say 440Hz.
