Default Older Rack Mount Gear for Hifi Bass EQ

I am looking to get some EQ/DSP for subs and am considering a few local options and come across a great deal of stuff like Behringer Ultracurve 8024 and Feedback Destroyers for $50-100. If going digital, I plan on using REW or something down the road to help in getting bass right in my room. As I hear, the Behringer units will work. That said, I am an analog guy, DSP is something I will allow on bass - not mains. Given the abundance of cheap units, and the alternatives being 2-3x more expensive, are there any units that are ones to look out for? I use a wide range of bass drivers and enclosures in my setup depending on mood and current projects. Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance.
