I am sure it is still available in UMANAGER, just wanted you to know.
No, mode is set by hardware straps, see manual, on purpose so you don't have to config a board before use and then keep track of where it is located....

I guess I should have been more specific.

I guess invert/normal is no longer a choice?

For the boards set for balanced operation this could be done with a switch but for those going single-ended this option is no longer available?

Sorry to see that. That would be enough to keep me with my existing board.

I know you are going to fret over the loss of that sale!!!

I should be grateful ...

Take care,

If you look at the config page in the manual, you should notice that I'm not done filling out with modes....

What type of shift register is used in dam1121? It is different from the one used in the dam1021 but I cannot see the markings on the published picture.

Default Analog input?

Is there even a slight possibility of implementing volume control with a analog pot firmware-wise? Or are serial commands all we get?

I wish more manuals would be as thorough as the dam1121s.

If it is relevant to what you are doing I have dam1021 with resistor based attenuator. Works very well in my set up.

I have no plans to make main boards to carry the dam1121 module, but will be happy to assist anybody who want to make one, plenty of opportunities to make different ones, from simple stereo ones to high end balanced ones and with different buffer technology.

Info to start with:

The dam1121 product page, with a manual and example schematics for a balanced test board: Soekris Engineering ApS, Products dam1121
Soren

Can you provide the schematic of the vref?
I want to know can I mod it.
thanzks
