I have a DCX2496 on which I get about 2V DC on one output (Left-High) along with loud pops on startup/shutdown. Note that I do also get signal on that channel, and my integrated amp tolerates it and amplifies the AC and it sounds fine aside from the pops. My power amps refuse to accept the output and shut down.
I looked at all the elements near that channel output and nothing looks awry, and the resistance and voltage across its capacitor looks about the same as the others, except one end is at about 2V DC. I have no schematic to trace this DC back to see where it might differ from another output.
Anyone seen this problem before and know what to do?
