Hifiberry digi (not digi+) for Raspberry Pi 2

Hey.

I got a RPI 2 and as well the Hifiberry digi..not the digi+...


Is there a way to hardwire...maybe loose cable connections.... this to the RPI 2? OR will it definately need the digi+???


Soldering and wiring is no problem as I do this in my job....
