Unfortuantely it looks like the USB connector on the miniDSP is for controlling the crossover only.
Seems like a wasted opportunity to have a digital input via USB.
So I'm looking for a cost effective way to get USB into an I2S format that the miniDSP will accept. What are my options?
Not only does the miniDSP not do it natively but you need *2* separate boards from them that cost as much as the miniDSP did in the first place.
Is there a way I can do this cheaper and with a smaller footprint?

DIYINHK isolated USB to I2S.
Doesn't get any more cost-effective than this.
