Just want to let you know an easy way to programm an I2C EEPROM for the SigmaDSP series with self-boot mode using the CH341A programmer.

To make things easier, i hacked together a little tool to convert the Sigma Studio HEX files to the Intel format (scroll down on the page), sources available.
I will mainly use it for our ongoing project of having a DSP in 50x50mm:
