After finishing the hardware and software of my "MilleDAC"......I will present it the community. The DAC was born from a hobby around 7 months ago.
This is the reason why it was not intended to sell this DAC. So the costs was a minor point.
The analog part was simulated with Orcad.
It has the following features:

  • Based on ES9018 DAC in 8Ch Stereo mode.
  • Amanero COMBO384 USB input for up to DSD512 and PCM384kHz
  • Optical Input and digital input
  • Full LME49990 I/V Stage
  • LME49600 Audio Buffer for headphone output
  • additional analog output
  • crystek cchd-575-50-100 ultra low noise crystal oscillator
  • 7 power phases based on TPS7A3301 and TPS7A4701
  • Atmel AT32UC3L064 32bit Microcontroller
  • 4 layer PCB with gnd and power plane and 2 Signal planes
  • 160x100mm PCB
  • Fully seperated grounds for analog and digital
  • In analog part use of ±0.01% resistors
  • Use of very good Nichicon capacitors
  • Touchscreen lcd for visualisation and control of input and volume
Last but not least some pictures!

@ zdr & mikealanlee
thx

@ JensH
It´s only the expected performance given by the datasheet. Unfortunately I have not the right instruments to measure the results. I have only a spectrum analyser which spectrum is 10kHz-3Ghz. I will look to get the right instruments to measure the DAC.

@ Julf
It´s integer
